Tony Aversano (DJ, Trumpet, Flugle Horn)
Tony, the proprietor of The Lace Music, has performed as DJ & Trumpeter in the Washington Metro Area for over twenty Five Years. Tony was brought to the Washington area as Trumpeter for the US Navy Band. After a four year tour with the Navy, he began teaching high school band, orchestra & choir at Marshall High School, Chantilly High School & Shenandoah Conservatory. Tony has performed in almost all venues possible in the metro area from the White House to Wolftrap Farms, the Kennedy Center and numerous hotels, country clubs and banquet halls. On numerous occasions, Tony, the premiere Lace Music performer & DJ, has been selected as performer and DJ for two and sometimes three functions from the same family or corporation. Callbacks are truly a huge form of success in the wedding and corporate party business – this is definitely the case.

Mike Thorp
Mike, born and raised in Northern Virginia, attended James Madison University achieving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education and a position as Band Director at Chantilly High School. Mike has performed as DJ for The Lace Music for over ten years at numerous country clubs, hotels and banquet halls. Mike, one of The Lace Music premiere performers, has performed events from elementary school dances, high school proms and corporate parties to the most elegant of weddings and – a DJ very much in demand.

Mike will assist you in planning an executing the perfect wedding celebration.

Joe Schwarz
Originally form Newcastle, Pennsylvania, Joe has been in the Northern Virginia area for approximately fifteen years. Though previously an Air Force officer, he has been teaching high school in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties over ten years. As DJ for the past fifteen years his wide experience of performance range from DJ’ing for Pop stars in Korea to country bars & dances in Texas to numerous hotel, country club & banquet hall venues in Northern Virginia. Joe, another premiere Lace Music DJ, is a wedding and party professional who provides quality dance & listening music his master of ceremony abilities offer a friendly, upbeat, clear & concise product. His goal is to facilitate the client’s concept of their wedding style and provide ultimate client satisfaction.

Cathy Arnold (DJ & Vocalist)
Cathy has performed over the last two decades throughout the Washington Metropolitan area. She has appeared at many of our Metro locations such as the Kennedy Center, State Department, and Pentagon. Cathy joined ‘The Lace Music’ as lead vocalist in the Jazz/Pop Combo and in 1987 and has performed more recently (early 2002) as one our best Lace Music DJs. Cathy has performed as singer and DJ at countless country clubs, hotels and banquet halls on numerous occasions that have taken her to renowned venues such as Wolftrap Barns, Landsdowne Resort, International Town & Country Club, the Country Club of Fairfax and numerous other Northern Virginia venues.

Charles Barton
As an employee of The Laced Music since the age of fourteen in the role of DJ assistant, Charles has had experience in school events, corporate parties, birthday celebrations and weddings of a DJ far beyond his twenty six years of age. He has a repertoire of over 6,000 selections from big band swing to the most current top forty. He is our premium youth party & prom DJ. He has performed at some local proms such as Lake Braddock, Centreville, Chantilly and Oakton High Schools for the past five years.

As solo DJ and often teaming with Cathy Arnold for weddings, he creates a sound impossible to beat!!

Lauren Bobby
Having been with us for only two years, Lauren is the newest DJ to The Lace Music. However, her youthful energy and incredible enthusiasm radiates through to your party & guests. She knows all the standard dance music of generations before and is absolutely current with the Top Forty & Pop hits of today. Like Charles, Lauren is premium for our youth party, proms and youthful weddings.

Lauren will shine a bright light of energy and pizzazz on your party, banquet or wedding celebration!

Mike Lasik
Mike worked as a DJ for WUVT VA Tech radio station on the air as Mike "The Clasik" Lasik, hosting a classic rock show. Performed for Weddings, Parties and became a regular DJ at Randy's Dance Club in the Tyson's West Park Best Western; as well as a regular DJ at Rick Walker's Score Board in Herndon, VA. Mike has worked as a freelance DJ for The Lace Music for over ten years

Leland Shook
Leland is a twenty three year veteran of both private, and public events, specializing in DJ music, karaoke hosting, and live vocals, and as a professional Master of Ceremonies. Living in the Northern Virginia Area for over twelve years, Leland numbers The United States Army, The National Reconnaissance Office, Boeing, and Northrup Grumman, as some of his most satisfied corporate clients. His karaoke collection is one of the largest on the Eastern Seaboard. Using state of the art equipment, an eye for detail, and an intuitive ability to exceed his customers expectations, the Lace music is delighted & honored to be working with Mr. Shook.
